The proposed expansion plan will see an additional 9 indoor/outdoor courts added to the facility, a world class 3 on 3 basketball dome, additional and re-surfaced carparking facilities, a reimagined plaza/entry space and an extension of the existing facility incorporating x2 new indoor multi-purpose sports courts, admin and corporate areas. The expansions will also accommodate a state-of-the-art high-intensity gym, open to both users of the Arena and the general public.

The newly proposed plan has been driven by a vision of Pelligra to create a space that supports the growth of grassroots sports by providing a physical space for children and youth to come together and share a likeminded interest in sport. Holistically, the vision and expansion plans further increase the venue's and South Australia's capability to host international and professional league sporting events and teams.
